The best time to visit this scenic park depends on your preference. If you want to truly enjoy the beauty of this park then try to come here from November to April. This park remains partially closed During May and October. Furthermore, during rainy seasons from June to September, it remains fully closed because the tracks can become slippery and accidents can happen.

If you’re coming during winter, from October to February then let me tell you that the weather remains pleasant and you can enjoy a nice safari ride inside this wild park. The temperature usually ranges between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius and because of that it’s the best time to visit manas and also it is the ideal season for the sightings. One can easily spot the wildlife and a lot of migratory birds can also be seen during this time.
Monsoons
The monsoon season starts from Mid of May or June and ends in the last of September. The park remains closed from June to September because the national park experiences moderate to heavy rainfall and it’s not the best time to visit Manas. Heavy rains or floods can happen in Assam during this time and because of that the park remains closed. The tracks or you can say roads inside the park remain inaccessible and it’s challenging to explore the area.
Summers
The summer here begins in the march and it goes until the end of May. People can experience scorchings and humid climates during this time and temperatures can go up to 37 degrees Celsius. However, the wildlife sights are better because many animals can be seen near the water bodies quenching their thirst or playing in it.
