!! Safari Gates of Manas !!

There are mainly three entry gates used for tourism in Manas National Park. All the gates of the park offer entry to different ranges, and all of them offer different kinds of experiences. Manas National Park is best for wildlife exploration and for nature walks. You can choose the gate according to your preferred experience and book a safari accordingly. The gates of Manas National Park are:

1. Bansbari Gate (Central Range) - The Main Entry Point
  • Location: Barpeta Road town
  • Best For: First-time visitors, wildlife spotting, comfortable stays
  • Safari Type: Gypsy safari and elephant safari
  • Entry To: This gate allows the tourists to go inside the central range of the park.

2. Bhuyanpara Gate (Eastern Range) - For Peaceful Adventure
  • Location: Around 40 km east of Bansbari, near Bhuyanpara village
  • Best For: Birdwatchers, nature lovers, less touristy experience
  • Safari Type: Gypsy safari
  • Entry To: This gate allows the tourists to go inside the eastern range of the park.

3. Panbari Gate (Western Range) - For The Explorers
  • Location: Near Panbari village, close to the Bhutan border
  • Best For: History and nature lovers, birdwatching
  • Safari Type: Nature walks and birding (No gypsy or elephant safaris)
  • Entry To: This gate allows the tourists to go inside the western range of the park.
